The starting point for the design of Space 101 is how to accommodate the masterpieces in a humble architectural and interior tone. We treat the building as a container, a white box, minimize the visual appeal and distraction of form and style, and let the visitor's attention focus on the displayed content.

Short spans strengthen the sense of central symmetry and depth sequence. Central opening allows natural light to fill the entire space, so that each exhibit can be displayed in natural light. The floating steel ladder placed in the middle is treated as a huge piece of furniture, a "furniture" for display furniture. On the wide steps, there are scattered exhibits. While climbing up the stairs, visitors are also browsing this miniature furniture museum. This interest also enhances the visitors' desire to go to the second floor.
